德國萊茵TUV近期在北京及臺灣地區接受核工業相關企業及政府核研究機構的委托，參與核電站安全控制系統的開發，設計，審查及驗證計劃的眾多工作，開始在大中華地區承擔起核電工業安全的重任。
Recently in Shanghai and Taiwan, TÜV Rheinland was entrusted by nuclear industrial sector and governmental research institution to participate in review works and certification project for R&D safety instrumentation and control (I&C) system of nuclear power plants. TÜV Rheinland now is taking the glory and heavy responsibility in Greater China for nuclear power industrial safety.由于溫室氣體對地球環境的巨大影響以及全球能源燃料面臨耗竭所帶來的眾多問題，世界各國已經重新關注核能政策。相對于石油，煤炭等燃料能源，核能屬于低碳能源，對民生經濟及環境具有相當顯著的貢獻，因此已成為持續能源政策的極佳選擇。
Because of huge impacts by greenhouse gases on earth environment and the concerns of global energy fuel depletion, many countries have being re-considered their nuclear power policy. Relative to fossil fuel energy, nuclear energy belongs to low-carbon energy which has remarkable contribution to livelihood economy and environment. Therefore, it has become a very good option for sustainable energy policy.
